Popular Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has revealed in her latest interview why she does not see herself as a feminist.
"According to Talk of Naija, She made this disclosure in a new video where she disclosed that she does not see herself as a feminist because she was raised to value men, saying that she does not refer to herself as a king."
"Ini" made it known that she was brought up in a way that she should respect men, which is why she prefers to represent both genders rather than women alone.
" She further stated that she is not the type of woman who calls themselves kings, saying that she would rather be a queen on her own and allow men to be the king."
In the statement she made in the video, she said:
“I was raised to respect and value men; I don’t see myself as a king like other women.”
I’m not a feminist; I prefer to represent both genders because I was raised that way.“
I’m not the type of woman who tries to be the king; I prefer to be a queen on my own and let the man be the king.”
"Her message in the interview is aimed at letting people know that she is not a feminist, saying that she does not try to share the throne with men."
